We will hold one service for the day out at City Park at the east pavilion. Come early and enjoy some coffee and donuts! After the service, there will be a time of fellowship as we join in a picnic lunch! This is a great opportunity to meet people between the first and second services. Kids can enjoy the beach area or play on the playground! Please remember to bring water shoes if you plan to enjoy the water, the zebra mussels are not kind to the feet!

Happy Mother’s Day! The calling of Motherhood is one of the noblest callings there is, and needs to be celebrated. One of the great blessings of motherhood is the opportunity to make a deep impression on the child/children that God blesses a mom with. While every mom makes an impression on her children, not all impressions are profitable for a life of holiness. As we join together, let’s unpack God’s design for making a Godly impact on our kids that will make a deep, divine impact on them for generations to come. I look forward to celebrating with you all this Sunday!
Would you like to assist with a great outreach opportunity, either by making the float and/or participating in the parade, please sign up in the lobby if you are interested. OGC is also seeking candy donations to hand out during the parade. If you are willing to donate, please bring your donations to the office or place them in the Bread By the Bay cart with a note stating “for the parade.” We prefer not to have gum as an option. What does it mean to be a member of OGC? Join us for our next membership class, beginning on June 7, between services in the Power Box. This class will run through June and July, with no class on July 5. The class will discuss the definition and responsibilities of membership, C&MA history and polity, and the OGC Statement of Faith. One of the incredible blessings that God gives to us as believers is providing the Scriptures. The Bible is God’s very word spoken directly to the heart of mankind. It is here that we find the answers to all of life’s questions–how we can know God, the definition of truth, the importance of relationships, God’s desires for His creation–and the list could go on and on. As we join together for worship Sunday, we’re going to seek answers from the Bible on some of the questions that you all have and how these answers can lead to a greater depth of intimacy with our loving God.
