Children’s Ministry
AWANA
For over 60 years, AWANA has been helping churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong kids who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. At OGC, we have three groups. Cubbies is for kids who are 1 to 2 years before entering kindergarten, Sparks is for grades K through 2 and T&T is for grades 3rd through 5th. From handbook time, where kids memorize verses and learn about God, to lesson and music time to game time, AWANA is a weekly night of fun and learning about how much Jesus loves us all. We meet every Wednesday, 6 pm to 7:30 pm. AWANA is on summer break but will resume September 2024.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School takes place during the summer, July 14th-July 18th, 6pm to 8pm, and is for kids 3 years old thru 5th grade completed. Kids learn about Jesus in a fun, safe environment.
VBS Celebration
Vacation Bible School children and their families, are invited to join us after church on Sunday, July 21st for a VBS Celebration. There will be a bounce house, a 75′ obstacle course and a lunch served for all.
Youth Ministry
Youth Group
The OGC Youth Group, grades 6-12, are about loving God, loving others and serving the world. The youth meet every Sunday night during the school year 6 pm-7:30 pm to hear a relevant message relating to their lives, to share in the Word of God through small group and games. Youth Group is on summer break but will resume in September 2024.

Small Groups
Ladies’ Bible Studies
9 am Thursdays:
Ladies’ Bible Study meets each Thursday @ 9 am at the church during the school year. They are currently on break for summer. A new study will be announced closer to fall.
Weekly Bible Studies
9am Wednesdays:
A weekly detailed study of the Bible. We read it, meditate on it, understand it, and memorize it. We are currently in the book of II Corinthians using Bible commentaries and Bible cross references. This study takes place at Earle Gray’s home. They are currently on break for summer. Contact the church office for more information.
6 pm Sundays:
Have you ever wanted to dig into the Bible but didn’t know how? Join Pastor Adam as we journey through Galatians and learn how to study the Bible for ourselves. The study takes place on Sundays at 6pm in the Family Room. There is no cost to this study. Questions?? See Pastor Adam or email: adam@ocontogospelchapel.com.
