“The Power of Planning” Nehemiah 3:1-32
Two weeks ago in our journey through Nehemiah, we found Nehemiah had arrived in Jerusalem to find the city still in ruins and facing opposition to rebuilding the wall. While it’s always difficult to face opposition and ridicule, it didn’t thwart Nehemiah from moving forward and rebuilding the wall. So, how did they move forward? And how did they get the wall rebuilt in only 52 days (Neh. 6:15)? It’s here that we gain from Nehemiah a powerful lesson on moving forward in the calling that God has given to us–it’s found in the power of planning.
